The governance structure of Nile University: There is Board of Trustees at the top followed by the Governing Council, Top Management, Senior Administrative Staff, Academic staff, Non Academic staff, Support Staff and Group employees as detailed in the Organizational Chart.  The Management structure is clear with clearly outlined competencies and responsibilities. This structural arrangement gives Nile University a decentralized management structure giving it all inclusive management practice and participatory decision making process flowing from the bottom to top. The academic staffs participate in decision making process on core activities of the University through academic staff meetings that will be organized once every Semester. The students participate in decision making through representation in the Governing.

The main goal of the Proprietor of Nile University was to promote and provide practical quality higher education that contributes to socio-economic development of the region, the countries in Africa.
