The Registrar shall be directly responsible to the Vice Chancellor and shall:

  1. Work in close collaboration with the Vice Chancellor and the Human Resource Officer, in carrying out their duties for the general administration and coordination of all University matters both academic and administrative;
  2. In liaison with the Faculty Deans be responsible for all matters pertaining to the academic organisation of the University;
  3. In liaison with the Faculty Deans be responsible for the mobilization of the potential students for the various Faculties and the University at large;
  4. Be in touch with the alumni of the University for the purpose of supporting their organization and the support of the entire University;
  5. Be responsible for the maintenance of registers and other documents concerning Nile University Senate, Academic Units and students;
  6. Nile University Senate (be the Secretary to the Nile University Senate);
  7. Interpret the policies for the Senate, Faculties, etc.;
  8. Affix the seal of the University to official documents of the University;
  9. Keeps register of members of Convocation;
  10. Publishes information about old students and staff;
  11. Looks in to matters of the placement of students during vacation as well as securing for them permanent employment.
